Boyd and White

Boyd and White Ltd was formed in 2016 by Janice Boyd.


Janice has always had a keen interest in the food industry from an early age although initially she thought it was more primary processing she would specialise in, after developing a love of farming and being a keen young farmer. However after working in a local dairy laboratory in the summer of 1995 Janice she fell in love with the manufacturing side of industry and decided to pursue a career in Food.


After gaining a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Food Technology at Loughry College and winning the United Dairies Award for Dairy Technology, Janice moved to England where she gained a breadth of knowledge, experience and expertise across a diverse range of industries including sushi and sandwich manufacturing, ready meals, red meat, poultry and fish. In 2011 Janice returned to Northern Ireland where she continued to offer consultancy services across Ireland and Scotland for the UK-based company she worked for.


In 2016 Janice took a leap of faith and Boyd and White was formed.  Janice continues to work with manufacturing clients across the UK and Ireland as well as conducting retail audits for her own clients as well as on behalf of Certification Bodies.
